The founding artists of the River-on-the-Run Artist Collective are Rhian Brynjolson, Bob Haverluck and Sam Baardman. Working in collaboration with biologists and climate scientists, our work investigates the increasingly fragile relationship between humans and their habitats. River-on-the-Run uses humour, painting, song-writing, photography, sculpture, poetry, drawing, story-telling, video and performance to give voice to wild spaces and animals. Increasingly we have become focused on the climate crisis, finding ways to help audiences comprehend a time of increasing global disruptions, providing solace to activists, and beginning the work of re-envisioning the future. River on the Run enjoys working collaboratively with artists and activists across disciplines. Guests participating in our exhibits have included fabric artists, sculptors, musicians, youth activists, film and stage actors and directors, poets, storytellers, and a host of others.
